Do you like the restaurant? Present simple – regular – repetitive situations – stative verbs I feel, I think, I like
What are you doing next week? Present continuous – temporary situations – ongoing projects - at the moment or at this time
What have you decided to do? Present perfect simple – recent results - this week, this month, this year, recently
Have you been working on the project a lot? Present perfect continuous – recent actions – this week, this month this year today recently
What did you do? Past simple – finished action with a date and the time – I left home at 8:30 – yesterday, last week, month year
What were you doing when I called you? Past continuous long lasting action in the past – yesterday, last week, last month, last year
What time does your flight get in? Present Simple- this is for the future, train or a plane arriving - later today, this afternoon.
Where are you going to stay? Future for a plan which has already been concluded – anytime in the future
What will you do if it breaks? 🌝Conditional used for decision making in probable situations – if it doesn’t work what will you do?
What would you do if you broke?🌧 conditional used for less probable situations and also for using “vouvoie”
What would you have done if you had broke ? Conditional talking about regrets and when you were lucky – if I hadn’t closed the window it would have been wet on the floor
